Ezzat Al-Alaili’s son reveals the reason for his differences with his father: “His pride was too great.”

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Alayli, son of the late artist Izzat Al-Alaili, revealed that his father had too much self-esteem.

In his interview, he continued with the program “A Last Word” presented by Lamees Al-Hadidi on the channel “ON”, in his episode, especially about the late artist, who “over time, had been arguing with my father deceased about aging, which used to be accompanied by a lack of space in the art scene, but these discussions always led my father to see that his space exists, and that the role is the one that will ask for it, and that his space is always reserved, because the role is the one that calls its owner, and this was an argument between us all the time and he always told me that you would always prefer my space and the right role for my Sunni scenario.

Mahmoud Al-Alaili denied that the lights were withdrawn from his father in recent years, saying: “The lights were not withdrawn from him at all, as he played important roles and was honored.”

He continued that the differences between them during the discussion were always related to political points of view, since the deceased belonged to a different generation. However, the debate always fostered respect for opinions.
