The Real Madrid Under-9 team beat Villavirdi (0-31) in the Spanish Junior League category, in a match that lasted 42 minutes.
Villaverde came out after the game to announce his anger at the behavior of the Real Madrid players on the social network “Twitter” in a toxic statement.
“We want to express our anger at this type of situation in popular soccer,” Villaverde said in the statement.
“First, the big clubs must use sports strategies to avoid such great results, and second, the Spanish Football Association needs to restructure the categories,” he added.
For its part, the Spanish newspaper “Marca” confirmed that Real Madrid showed a side of respect towards its losing rival, and chose not to publish the result of the match on its website.
And Real Madrid, through their official accounts, congratulated their team for achieving their first victory in the League without writing the overwhelming result.
It is noteworthy that a similar episode occurred a few weeks ago in the Valencian Community in the under-15 youth category, where Le Silos beat Deportes Jocar by score (30-0), before the winning club issued a statement of apology to the players and parents of the losing team.
