Enppi: The Football Association decides to exclude the referee from the Zamalek match video

The Enppi club confirmed, in an official statement, that the Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association decided to exclude Sobhi Al-Amrawi, the referee of the video, in the Zamalek and Enppi match, for a period of one month.

Enppi was defeated by a one-goal double on Saturday against Zamalek on the fifth day of the Egyptian We League championship.

Enppi said, through their official accounts on social media, that the Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association decided to exclude Sobhi Al-Amrawi, the video referee in the Zamalek match and Enppi in the League competition General de Fútbol for a month.

The Petroleum Club statement indicated that the decision of the FIFA Referees Committee came about because the video referee was not summoned to the arena referee, Mohamed Al-Sabahi, to review the uncalculated penalty game in Enppi’s favor, Despite the mistake made by Imam Ashour, the Zamalek player, and the cameras indicated the correction of the penalty that was not counted.

Abdel Nasser Mohamed, Enppi’s director of football, said his team deserved a penalty that was not awarded to Zamalek, in the match that brought the two teams together at Petrosport Stadium.
