The Egyptian Olympic Committee issued an official statement announcing that it had addressed the International Olympic Committee regarding the suspension of Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, while the International Olympic Committee did not object to this decision.

The Egyptian Olympic Committee had decided to suspend Murtaza Mansour for a period of 4 years and prevented him from practicing any football activity due to a series of complaints against him, also decided to refer the criminal acts to the deputy (see here).

Yallakora had contacted the International Olympic Committee, which confirmed that the decision to suspend Murtaza Mansour was an internal matter (see here).

The Egyptian Olympic Committee gave Mortada Mansour 14 days, starting on October 4, to appeal the decision to suspend it.

In the statement issued to him on Thursday, of which Yalla Koura obtained a copy, the Olympic Committee stressed that the International Olympic Committee had approved receiving a letter to arrest Murtado Mansour, in addition to his refusal to appear for the investigation.
