Pyramids responded with a quick counterattack through Ibrahim Hassan in the 7th minute to dodge Abdullah Jumaa and into the penalty area to pay, but the defense delivered the ball in a timely manner.
Mohamed Farouk was left alone in the 10th minute and before he called, Al Wensh stepped in to join him and deflect the shot off the field to protect the white net from an early goal.
Traore received a ball behind the defense, passing his speed from Mahmoud Alaa and was completely alone with goalkeeper Mohamed Abu Jabal, but recklessly shot the ball, making it easy for the Zamalek goalkeeper in the 16th minute.
Traore again lost the opportunity to advance after a cross from the left side, finishing the ball over Zamalek’s goal in the 20th minute, so Abu Jabal kept his net clean.
In the 42nd minute, Ashraf Bencharki sent a cross from the right wing to be stopped by Mahdi Suleiman, but put it in front of Mustafa Mohamed on the goal line to easily score the Zamalek forward.
Ashraf Bencharki almost scored the second goal in the 45th minute, after a shot was blocked by Mahdi Suleiman, and the ball returned to Bencharki to fire, but the ball hit the crossbar.
In the first minute of the second half, Pyramids almost equalized after a ball reached Traore inside the penalty area to pass the ball to the next behind in the face of the goal, but Zamalek’s defense stepped in and took the ball out.
