Egypt topped Group G rankings in the 2021 African Nations Qualifiers after beating Togo in one of today’s matches, Tuesday 11-17-2020, in the fourth round of the qualifying rounds for Cameroon 2022.

The match ended with a landslide victory for the pharaohs, by three goals to one, in the match that was organized by the Kizhi Stadium in the capital, Lomé.

The “Egypt and Togo” meeting was reported on BN Sports 7, and started at 16:00 GMT, 18:00 Egypt time, 19:00 Saudi Arabia time.

Egypt managed to top Group G in these heats with 8 points, ahead of the Comoros national team by one goal, while Togo was behind the group and their hopes of competing for the final were evaporated.

Egypt’s first goal came in the 18th minute, in contrast to the course of the match by Mohamed Magdy Afsha after a great field control for Togo in the opening minutes.

Al-Ahly player “Mohamed Magdi Afsha” took advantage of a ball that was erroneously dispersed from the center of the Togo defense at the limits of the penalty area, to receive, dribble and shoot with his right foot, a beautiful ball at the end goalkeeper’s left.

Egypt scored the second goal in the 32nd minute from “Mohamed Sherif” with a right-footed shot to the goalkeeper’s right after receiving a beautiful long pass to the back from goalkeeper defense, “Mohamed El-Shennawi”.

The Togo defender made a mistake by scattering Mohamed El Shennawy’s longitudinal ball, and it fell to Mohamed Sherif – second scorer in the Egyptian League last season – to seize the opportunity and score the goal in a distinctive way.

At the start of the second half, Mahmoud Trezeguet – the star of Aston Villa England – managed to score the third goal for the Egyptian team in the 52nd minute, followed by a long ball sent by Ayman Ashraf from the left end of the Egypt corridor , which the Togo defense was unable to cope with.

A minute before the end of the game, the Togolese team scored a face-saving goal after a heart slip from Egyptian defender Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wensh and Ahmed Hegazy as they dispersed a cross.

Here is the table for the Egyptian group in the 2021 African Nations qualifiers, after sweeping Togo in the fourth round.
