“Education” resolves the controversy over the reopening of private tutoring centers

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers confirmed that what circulated on social media about the reopening of private lesson centers for students during the new academic year was incorrect.

The center said, in its weekly report to monitor the rumors and respond to them, today Friday, that it has contacted the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, which completely denied the news.

The Ministry confirmed that there is no intention to reopen the private lesson centers during the new academic year, as they are facilities that carry out educational activities in violation of the laws, explaining that legalized educational alternatives have been provided to the phenomenon of private lessons, through of strengthening groups within schools.

In a related context, booster groups will be held for all educational stages during the new elective and non-compulsory school year, and booster groups for transfer years will be under the supervision of the school, and for the third grade preparatory and Third secondary grade will be under the supervision of the educational administration, provided that 85% of the result is assigned. Rates for reinforcement groups that will be applied during the new academic year for the benefit of the teachers themselves to improve their economic conditions, while the rest of the estimated result of 15% is returned to the school to support the maintenance of the facilities and equipment in the same, and the group rooms for general certificates will be equipped with technology that adapts to the orientations of the ministry towards e-learning. A percentage of 10% will be set for students in educational groups for the benefit of orphaned students and children of martyrs, and they will be exempt from payment in full.
