The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced that it is available to inquire about seating numbers for students requesting to take the general high school completion exams for the current academic year 2019/2020, on the Ministry’s website starting Monday, May 11, 2020, in accordance with the instructions of Dr. Tariq Shawqi The Minister of Education and Technical Education, to prepare well to take exams and preserve the safety of our students.
The Ministry stated that the student can consult through the link (http://emis.gov.eg), and that the cards for the seat numbers will be delivered to schools as of Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Vice Minister of Teaching Affairs and General President of the Secondary General Exams, said that all the system and monitoring committees were informed of the need to establish instructions and mechanisms to deliver the seat number cards and inform to the schools about them, including the formation of more than one committee within the school whose task is to deliver the cards and that the delivery be made in the schoolyard. It is not allowed to enter more than one person to receive the seat number, with the need to take all the preventive measures represented by wearing masks and gloves.
In the same context, Hegazy added that all schools must comply with the implementation of Resolution No. 719 issued by the Council of Ministers on 03/16/2020, which stipulates that the presence of teachers will be rotated and will not harm exceptional cases mentioned in the decision.
