Books – Muhammad Hammam:
Al-Ahly player Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” praised his South African coach Pitso Musimane after Red Team won the 2020 CAF Champions League title.
“Afsha” said in comments on the “on e” screen Saturday night, “Musimane is a great coach because he studies opponents well.”
He continued: “Musimani prepared a video about each player in Zamalek and sent it to each player. Personally, I memorized Tariq Hamed’s game because he will be tasked with observing me.”
He continued: “It is not a shame to know the opponent’s path. Al-Ahly faced Zamalek in the same way as in Abu Qir’s match, and this is not a reduction in Zamalek.”
“Afsha” continued his comments: “I spoke with Musimani before the game and for the first time I find that Musimani talks a lot during the conference. I felt anxious and found him telling me that I am in Al-Ahly to write history and I want to write history with you.”
“Afsha” ended his remarks about the most dangerous player that Zamalek feared, saying: “Ahmed Sayed Zizou for his constant movements and his young age.
“Afsha” led Al-Ahly to the CAF Champions League title after scoring the winning goal against Zamalek in a match that was decided by the red team (2-1).
And Al-Ahly became the only one with the most crowned African title nine times, after four championships from the duo of Zamalek and Mazembe.
