Books – Muhammad Al-Sawy:
With the participation of 16 of the best detectives, and with the help of 3 police stations, the Cairo Security Directorate worked for 36 hours in a row to unravel the clues to the crime of “the Maadi girl”, Maryam Muhammad.
Scene 1 – From inside the Maadi Police Station
As members of the Maadi Police Department prepared to switch work shifts between officers and individuals, a report was received last Tuesday from Lieutenant Colonel Islam Bakr, chief of investigations, stating that a girl was killed on 9th Street in the department of the department after a robbery. Immediately, the officer changed his plan and forced everyone to stay until the circumstances of the report were revealed, then he moved a force with a force to the scene of the accident.
Scene 2 – The body of a girl in a pool of blood
On the famous 9th street of Maadi, the corpse of a girl lies on the ground, around her angry parents gather, and on the ground there are signs of bleeding from the girl from her collision, and next to her is her friend in state of shock and amazement at the accident that caused the death of her friend.
Soon, Lt. Col. Islam Bakr reported to Major General Nabil Salim, Director of the Cairo General Administration of Investigation, who arrived at the scene of the incident within minutes, and told his officers: “The case is difficult … and we must come to a solution in a few hours … No one will go except when we close the case, and answer the defendant and me.
Scene 3: a strict security plan to catch the perpetrators
Major General Nabil Salim immediately set out to develop a security plan to arrest the perpetrators, uncover the circumstances of the accident and assembled a team of 16 officers, including Major General Muhammad Abdullah, Deputy General Manager, Major General Muhammad Sharqawi, Director of Criminal Investigation, and Brigadier General Taha Fouda, South Sector Investigation Chief AND Brigadier General Ayman Waheed, Investigative Inspector, and Lieutenant Colonel Islam Bakr, Investigation Chief of Maadi, and each of the main Eid Tawfiq, Ahmed Bahjat, Mahmoud Diab, Nabil Hisham and Marwan Shaltout, officers of the Maadi research department.
The research team also included; Major Kamal Selim, Assistant to the First Investigator of Al-Basateen, Major Ahmed Mukhtar, Assistant to the First Investigator of Dar Al-Salam, Major Abdel-Rahman Rajai, Assistant to the Investigations of Dar es Salaam, and Major Ahmed Musleh, assistant to the first investigation of Ancient Egypt.
– difficult task and little information
The officers began to disseminate everything that was assigned to them, and the urgent task seemed difficult, since the witnesses provided information, but it was not enough to determine the identity of the accused, so the solution was in the surveillance cameras that revealed part of the thread, but they did not detect the defendants either, since the car in which the defendants were traveling was obscured by the numbers. .
For his part, Major General Nabil Salim decided to opt for the only and most difficult solution, which is to track the route of the car through cameras from Maadi where the accident occurred until it ends its route and is installed in the last place.
Indeed, the agents and individuals began to implement the plan drawn up with precision and professionalism, since the matter needs secrecy so that the defendants do not feel that the detectives are close to them. In order not to run away again, he examined all the surveillance cameras the car passed through until it settled in Dar es Salaam.
– Determination and detention of the first accused
From here the threads began to unfold, the driver was identified and a secret mission was ordered to arrest him; Indeed, the security forces managed to deceive and arrest the first defendant, “Walid” (34 years – driver – resident in Stable Antar in Old Cairo), and the first one was arrested and charged in several cases, namely “Case No. 19768 of 2009 AD, Ancient Egypt, drugs; Case No. 7469 For the year 2008 AD, Dokki are drugs.
The officers took the first defendant before Major General Nabil Salim, at the Maadi police station, where, while working on monitoring what each officer was doing, they interrogated and argued until they informed him of the whereabouts of the second defendant, and immediately Another mission was ordered to arrest the second accused, Muhammad. He was known as Muhammad al-Sagheer, (37 years old – security individual and resident of Queen Kafr Tohormos Street, Bulaq al-Dakrour), and was previously accused in several cases, which is Case No. 989 of 2016 AD, crossing of drugs and Case No. 9305 of 2015 AD, Haram are drugs and Case No. 835 of the year. 2010, Bulaq Dakrour, an unlicensed weapon.
The agents breathed a sigh of relief after reaching the defendants, and then began to question them until they confessed to the allegations and listed the details of the incident, which took 36 continuous hours between investigation, search, examination and arrest of the defendant. A report was edited and reported to the prosecution for investigation.
