The British website “GivemeSport”, quoting the American magazine “Forbes”, stated that Mohamed Salah’s total earnings from his contract with Liverpool amounted to 23.1 million dollars, as his contract contains incentives related to performance and goal score as well as salary.

The Egyptian star is ranked 34th on the list of the highest paid athletes for 2020, ahead of French world champions Clian Mbappé of Paris Saint-Germain, Paul Pogba of Manchester United, Jordan Speth and Zion Williamson.

But according to the “Celebrity 100” list, Salah’s net profit reached $ 35.1 million in April 2020.

Mohamed Salah deals with many sponsors, including “Adidas”, “DHL”, “Pepsi” and “Vodafone”, and he also earns around $ 12 million from sponsors.

The site referred to the charity of Mohamed Salah, who established a charitable foundation in Nagrig, “his village,” which aims to help economically needy families by providing them with a monthly income.

He explained that in 2018 he financed the construction of a hospital and a school in Egypt, and donated 2.5 million pounds to the National Cancer Institute in Egypt.

During this year 2020, Mohamed Salah donated about 405 thousand pounds sterling, and fresh food and meats to some institutions in “Nagrig”, to face the epidemic of the Corona virus.

It is noteworthy that Mohamed Salah signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2017 and has a contract with the club until 2023, and receives a salary from the ‘Reds’ of 200 thousand pounds a week.

The Egyptian “pharaoh” was crowned with the “reds” in the European Champions League, the European Super League and the Club World Cup last year, and won the English Premier League for the first time in 30 years.

Salah won the top scorer award in two consecutive seasons, and was the best player in his first season with Liverpool, and the third best player in the world in 2018, behind Croatian duo Luka Modric and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
