Dr. Amjad Al-Haddad, Director of the Serum and Vaccine Allergy and Immunization Center, said the number of infections and deaths caused by the Corona virus yesterday, Friday, is high, with 495 cases recorded per day, noting that this week, it will be the peak of infections.
Al-Haddad added, in televised statements to him yesterday, that these numbers are the result of the consequences that citizens began to follow due to recklessness in some governorates, and the inability of citizens to include the seriousness of the scenario, especially because what happened before the month of the crowding and accumulation of Ramadan will now have its consequences.
He noted that there are two challenges for the upcoming period, the first being the Eid Al-Fitr Challenge, which can witness crowds or calls, advising citizens to go out now to buy clothes and cakes for the party, while the second challenge is to early next June, which is beginning to open up the state and coexist with the Corona virus.
Although the sources of the Ministry of Health and Population said that, until now, we cannot determine the peak of the Corona virus in Egypt, since all countries represent peaks in the period in which the highest number of infections is recorded daily, then numbers begin to stabilize and then gradually decrease, then it is known that The period in which the largest number was recorded is the peak period.
Sources confirmed to Al-Shorouk that in Egypt we are awaiting the stability of the numbers and their decrease to determine the peak, but now it is said that Egypt has entered the peak of the spread of the virus in an unscientific way, so it is necessary to determine the peak of passage through the three previous stages, and Egypt so far in the increasing numbers stage.
