Germany manager Oliver Bierhoff said manager Joachim Loew is in no danger of losing his job despite losing 6-0 to Spain at the end of the European Championship group stage on Tuesday.
Germany suffered their worst defeat in an official match, after a magnificent show from Spain, while coach Luv was surprised and could not justify the collapse of his team in Seville and the loss of the opportunity to qualify for the semi-finals of the Nations League.
Germany have clearly suffered this year, winning just three times in eight games, but Bierhoff said coach Loew will continue in his role until next year’s Euro, at least.

When asked if Loew would remain in his position until the European Championship, Bierhoff told ARD television: “Yes, of course. This match will not change anything. We continue to trust Joachim Low, there is no question about that.
And he added: “With the national team you have to think and analyze from one tournament to another. We want to achieve our best at the European Championship next year.”
The European Championship was supposed to be held in the middle of this year, but the tournament was postponed until 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Germany only needed a draw to qualify for the semi-finals of the Nations League, but the defeat gave Spain the lead in the group and qualification for the final round.
