In an exclusive interview with Fox News channel “Russia Today” for the first time, the former US military Rob O’Neill explained details of how Navi Sails planned to eliminate the al-Qaeda leader and carry out the operation.

O’Neill confirmed that the exercises for the operation continued for weeks in a mountainous area in the United States, before the sixth “Navi Seals” team went to Pakistan to fulfill the mission.

The former soldier admitted that he believed this mission could be a “one-way road” and would not return safely, and O’Neill revealed that it took him 38 minutes to complete the operation.

The former soldier stated that he and that soldier went up to the third floor of the house, which became the last refuge for the leader of “Al Qaeda”, and entered bin Laden’s room, where they discovered a group of women, including girls and one of bin Laden’s wives.

O’Neill said he saw at that time just two feet away from him a man standing behind his wife, and his hand was on his shoulder, and O’Neill said, “I saw this face thousands of times, and this was Osama bin Laden”.

O’Neill said this “meeting” only took a second, adding that he had said nothing to Osama bin Laden before he was shot.
