Receiving the 2020-2021 academic year to be applied within schools to protect Corona students, and Ministry directives to close any educational facility in the event of Corona’s emergence.
Hijazi emphasized the need for everyone to come together to preserve the health of students so that the educational process can be successful in these exceptional circumstances, and also highlighted the importance of the role of operating rooms at the level of educational directorates and departments, in addition to the central operating room of the ministry in monitoring the health situation in schools and educational facilities, which may These facilities are closed according to a report from the education administration and the health department affiliated with them, making sure to update its database daily.
The Ministry of Education announced a few days ago, several preventive controls and regulations during the course of the learning process, together with the implementation of precautionary measures, which are the following:
– Closing the class, the class is closed in case more than one confirmed case occurs in the same semester within two weeks, the class is closed for a period of 28 days from the start date of the implementation of the closure decision, and decisions are made by the education administration and the health administration.
A school is closed, the school is closed when more than one school classroom is closed within two weeks, after that, it is an indication of an increase in the rate of disease transmission in the school, so the school it is closed for 28 days by the Directorate of Health and the Directorate of Education.
A school complex is closed, after a school is closed in a school complex, then a semester closure indicator (Item 1) occurs in any of the schools in the same complex, and within two weeks after the closure of the first school, the entire school complex is closed for a period of 28 days by the Directorate of Health and the Directorate of Education.
Close the schools of a village or city, by decision of the governorate when quarantine is imposed on a village or city, and the closure extends until the end of the prescribed quarantine period.
The closure of the governorate schools, in accordance with the recommendations of the Crisis Management Committee and the development of the epidemiological situation, the decision can be made to close the governorate schools for a period of at least 28 days and it can be extended according to the decision of the committee, and this decision is enforced by the provincial office.
In its publication, the Ministry confirmed that these procedures apply to all types of public, private, international and other schools, and a process of disinfection of the class or facility is carried out, and the process of follow-up of contacts is carried out by the administration of health.
