Argentine media reported that Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona was taken to hospital.
Maradona, 60, who coaches the “Jimnasia e Isgrima” team from the Argentine city of La Plata, was reportedly taken to the city’s “Ibensa” hospital for medical examinations.
Reports indicated that Maradona has been in poor health recently and will remain under the supervision of doctors for several days.
This occurs only 3 days after you celebrated your 60th birthday.
It should be noted that Maradona, who is considered one of the best players in the history of football, world champion with the Argentine team in 1986, star of “Boca Juniors” from Argentina, “Napoli” from Italy and “Barcelona” from Spain, has been transferred to hospitals on several occasions in recent years.
Maradona was hospitalized in January 2019 for stomach bleeding, and during the 2018 World Cup matches in Russia, when he was ill in the stadium while watching the match between the Argentine and Nigerian teams.
Maradona previously underwent treatment for heart and respiratory problems in 2004 as a result of cocaine use. He also underwent gastric bypass surgery to shed excess weight in 2005, in addition to various courses of treatment to recover from the effects of drug and alcohol addiction.
