In the last 24 hours, Egypt and the world have witnessed major events related to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
The most important news was the announcement of a new increase in the number of daily infections in Corona in Egypt, yesterday, Monday, and the Ministry of Health and Population announced, today, that 506 people in recovery from the Corona virus have left the hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and complete recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization. Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 115 new cases were registered that tested positive for virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 18 new cases.
While the Johns Hopkins University of America stated that the number of people who have died around the world as a result of infection with the Covid-19 disease caused by the emerging corona virus has passed the million mark.
And data from the university showed late Monday night that the number of registered infections in the world since the start of the pandemic exceeds 33.2 million.
The actual number of cases may be higher due to the presence of undetected cases.
