Al-Azhar University will announce, shortly, the result of the admission coordination in the Faculties of Cairo and the Regions for the academic year 2020/2021.
It is decided that Dr. Mohamed Al-Mahrasawi, President of Al-Azhar University, and Dr. Youssef Amer, Deputy for Education and Student Affairs, will announce the results of the admission coordination in Cairo and the universities of the regions .
Informed sources from Al-Azhar University said that the minimum admission threshold for admission to Cairo and regional universities for boys and girls has been unified this year, continuing: “The total of medical, pharmacy and dental schools for boys will be equal to the total admission to the same universities in the girls branch “.

Sources told Masrawy that the Coordination Office finished early Saturday morning setting the minimum limits for boys and girls schools in Cairo and the regions, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad al-Mahrasawi, president of the Al-Azhar University, Dr. Youssef Amer, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Farag Rector Counselor of the University Affairs Coordination Office.
Sources indicated that there is an increase in admission indicators for Cairo and regional universities, compared to last year, due to high success rates in the first and second rounds of the Al-Azhar high school diploma.
The sources indicated that the registry will open again for those who have not registered next Monday and Tuesday.
Al-Azhar University closed the door to register admission wishes in Cairo and universities in the regions for those who passed the second round of Al-Azhar high school last Wednesday.
Al-Azhar representative Sheikh Saleh Abbas approved the results of the second round of Al-Azhar’s high school diploma, with a 68% success rate.
