Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Undersecretary of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, and official spokesman for the ministry, said that 712 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of surveillance and investigation procedures. necessary. and tests carried out by the ministry in accordance with World Health Organization guidelines, which point to the death of 46 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid claimed that the total number that was recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 202,843, including 155,016 cured cases and 12041 deaths.
