Today Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 843 Coronavirus recoveries have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who 94,374 cases have been recovered from the virus to date.
Dr Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 111 new cases were recorded that tested positive for virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 16 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indicator of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” affirmed that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today Saturday is 102,736 cases, including 94,374 cured cases and 5,869 deaths.
