The committee fined the deposed president of Zamalek with 100 thousand Egyptian pounds, after investigating complaints presented by various sports figures, “all of them are harmed by the president of the Zamalek club by insulting, defaming and insulting them and the sports institutions they represent, using the Zamalek satellite channel, which he excluded from his sports role. “

It should be noted that the Fatwa General Assembly and Legislation Sections concluded, in its fatwa, that it was not appropriate to express an opinion on the legality of the decision issued by the Egyptian Olympic Committee to suspend the activity of the President of the Zamalek Club Board of Directors. , because the request was related to a dispute that is still pending before the Judiciary.

The association said that the Ministry of Youth and Sports sent a letter to the State Council in which the State Council – the General Assembly of the Fatwa and Legislation sections – consulted on the legality of the decision issued by the Egyptian Olympic Committee to suspend the activity of the President of the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Club and summon his seat in the ordinary general assembly of the club in accordance with the provisions of the Sports Law. And the powers conferred on sports organizations, their general assemblies and their boards of directors.
