Experts from the General Meteorological Authority said the state of instability in current weather conditions is natural and non-violent or severe, since it began on Tuesday in limited areas such as Sallum, Siwa and Al-Dabaa and extends to Alexandria, and onwards. Wednesday, the rains spread to some areas of Lower Egypt. And it will be more prolific.
The experts added that, from Thursday to Sunday, the chances of rain increase to include the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo and North Sinai, and it will be a storm, and may reach the extent of torrents in North and Central Sinai .
The experts emphasized that the rain is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures of 4 to 5 degrees, in most regions, since it varies from 28 to 25 degrees in Cairo, from 26 to 26 degrees on the north coasts, and to South Sinai and the Red Sea ranges 33, and in North and South Sinai from 28 to 28 33 degrees.
The authority’s experts pointed out that the cause of the wave of instability is the presence of high air on the surface of the earth that brings winds loaded with amounts of humidity, and this coincides with the presence of a depression in the upper atmosphere that brings in a cold air mass, and this generates a state of instability in climatic conditions.
The experts advised to follow the Bulletin of the Meteorological Authority, and to drive calmly on roads, especially in areas exposed to rain, in addition to changing the quality of summer clothes to convert them into autumn clothes.
