The Meteorological Authority announced the meteorological details during “Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.”
And it came as follows:
Monday
Medium to heavy rains in areas of the northern coasts of “Matrouh – Sallum”.
Moderate rain in “Alexandria – Rashid – Baltim” areas.
Light to moderate rainfall in areas of the eastern coasts, Lower Egypt and the Gulf of Aqaba, “Damietta – Port Said – Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia – West – East – Menoufia – Taba – Nuweiba”.
Wind and sand activity increased in areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo, the Channel cities, and northern Upper Egypt, leading to decreased horizontal visibility.
Tuesday
Medium to heavy rains in northern coastal areas: Matrouh – Salloum – Alexandria – Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said.
Average rainfall in areas of Lower Egypt and the canal cities, “Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia – East – West – Menoufia – Ismailia – Suez”.
Wind and sand activity increased in areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo, the canal cities and the south of the country, leading to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
Wednesday
Medium to heavy rains in areas of the northern coasts: Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Al-Arish – Rafah.
Moderate rainfall in areas of the western coasts “Alexandria – Matrouh – Salloum”.
Average rainfall in areas of Greater Cairo.
Light to moderate rainfall in areas of Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt and areas of South Sinai.
Wind activity in some areas of the northern coasts.
Thursday
Light rains in some areas of the northern coasts.
The authority has ordered to take the necessary measures to limit the effects of the rain.
