American doctors have revealed that the emerging coronavirus can cause sudden strokes in young adults in their thirties and forties who are not classified as seriously ill.
The American network “CNN” stated in a report on its website that “Covid 19” infection can cause blood clots in unusual ways that can lead to strokes in some cases.
In this regard, Dr. Thomas Oxley, a neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and his colleagues provided details of five people who had been treated for the virus, all of whom were under the age of fifty and who had mild or no symptoms. they had no symptoms.
Oxley told CNN: “The virus appears to cause increased clotting of the large arteries, leading to a severe stroke.”

Oxley said, “Brain cells die when blood flow stops, and the longer the block period, the more brain damage,” emphasizing that “prompt treatment is vital.”
He explained that “the most effective treatment for any major stroke is to restore the clot, provided this is done within 6 hours and sometimes within 24 hours.”
So far, the deadly virus has claimed more than 47,000 of a total of more than 849,000 cases in the United States, which still tops the list of countries in the world in terms of number of injuries and deaths due to “Covid 19” since The first case was registered in their territory in February.
