As for the daily reports he received from security services, they were outside of his daily hours, and he did not mention the escalation of Covid-19 cases across the country.
Suddenly his almost daily press conferences, interviews with “Fox News” and impromptu chat sessions with White House reporters are gone.
Instead, Trump has spent most of his time tweeting about what he claims are stolen elections.
At times he would retweet comments supporting right-wing Fox News anchors and quotes from the channel’s daily shows.
The only significant presidential action Trump took was the sudden firing of Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Monday, which he also announced on Twitter.
