Banque Misr requires wearing masks to enter its branches starting next Sunday

Banque Misr has announced that customers will be able to enter the bank’s branches starting next Sunday, May 17, but only if they wear the medical mask.

A bank statement, through its official Facebook page, stated that customers will be received consecutively and in limited numbers for each branch.

This is part of the precautionary measures banks are taking to prevent the emerging corona virus.

On Sunday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 73 of those infected with the Corona virus will be discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to World Organization guidelines. Health, bringing the total of people who recover from the virus to 2075 cases to date.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesperson for the Ministry, said that the number of cases whose laboratory results were converted from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 2,556 cases, including 2,075 recoveries.

He added that 436 new cases, which were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, were registered as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to WHO guidelines, indicating the death of 11 new cases.

“Mujahid” said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to guidelines from the World Health Organization.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Sunday, is 9,400 cases, including 2,075 cases that have been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 525 deaths.
