Awqaf Announces Final Decision Regarding Tarawih Prayers in Ramadan in Mosques (Details)

The Undersecretary of the Endowments Ministry for Mosque Affairs, Dr. Noah Al-Essawi, said that prayers during the upcoming month of Ramadan will be carried out in accordance with precautionary checks in the mosques where Friday prayers are held.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments for Mosque Affairs, Noah Al-Essawi, added on Saturday that while respecting all controls and precautionary measures and taking into account the distances involved, the Qiyaam prayer will be performed in Ramadan in the mosques that are They take place on Fridays, and that’s just for prayer without allowing breakfast tables or holding an i’tikaaf.

In addition to the continuation of not allowing the opening of sanctuaries, bathrooms or event houses, observing all existing controls, complying with all precautionary and preventive measures, and intensifying continuous cleaning and sterilization operations.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments for Mosque Affairs pointed out that there is absolutely no fault for whoever prays Taraweeh at home, rather it is desirable in the circumstances in which we find ourselves, to contribute to achieving separation and reducing meeting times in one place, asking Almighty God to inform us about Ramadan with kindness and to speed up to lift the calamity of the country, the people, our beloved Egypt and the rest of the worlds.
