Atlético de Madrid returns with a point from Moscow

Atlético de Madrid did not lose any of their six matches in the Spanish League, but suffered a severe defeat early in their continental career to Germany’s defending champion Bayern Munich with a clean-up quarter win before being offset by a difficult 3-2 win over Salzburg in the second round thanks to their duo of Portuguese star Joao Félix.

Atlético raised their score to 4 points compared to 2 for Lokomotiv Moscow, while Salzburg of Austria play Bayern Munich.

Félix participated in the front line with the Uruguayan Luis Suárez, who moved to him at the beginning of this season from Barcelona.
