The Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Tariq Shawky, approved Ministerial Resolution No. 247 of December 14, 2020, on Monday, regarding the granting of the necessary validity certificate for promotion to teaching positions for the year 2019/2020.
The decision stipulated in its first article: “As of 1/1/2020, the members of the Education Authority who hold teaching positions and the corresponding positions of social workers, psychologists, technology specialists, specialists in the press and media and Librarians, who have met the training requirements and programs approved by the Professional Academy for Teachers, receive a certificate. The authority necessary for promotion to a higher position in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (155) of 2007, as amended, and its executive regulations, and its number is 301,784 teachers.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Vice Minister of Educational Affairs, said that among these teachers 61,000 teachers will be promoted to the position of Senior Teacher, 7,000 will be promoted to the position of Senior Teacher A, 151,000 teachers will be promoted to the position of Expert Teacher and 81,000 Teacher You will be promoted to the main teacher position.
