English club Arsenal are struggling to finance the signing of Ghanaian international Thomas Parti and pay the penalty clause in the player’s contract with Spanish club Atlético de Madrid.

Britain’s The Telegraph newspaper said Arsenal had placed Egyptian star Mohamed El-Niny, in addition to Matteo Jendouzi and Lucas Torreira, on the sales list to finance the Ghanaian player’s contract.

Thomas Partey has a penalty clause in his contract with Atlético de Madrid worth 45 million euros and reports indicate a strong desire by the London club to join him in strengthening the midfield.

Muhammad Al-Nani had returned to Arsenal after the end of his one-season loan deal with Besiktas.

The Egyptian international appeared in his national team’s game against Liverpool in the Charity Shield and presented a good level and contributed, together with his teammates, to the Gunners’ crowning on the shield for the 16th time in the club’s history.

Al-Nani, before returning to Arsenal, received many offers from Turkish clubs such as Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and his old club Besiktas, as well as a new offer from the Italian League through Sampdoria.

Mohamed El-Nani joined the ranks of Arsenal in January 2016, and his total play with the team reached 90 matches, scoring two goals.

While in the year of the loan with Besiktas, he played 36 games, scoring one goal in them.
