Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad, announced the scheduling of flights for Egyptians traveling to the State of Kuwait, following the reopening of the Kuwaiti airlines on January 2, as decided by the Kuwaiti authorities.

This comes as a continuation of the work of the Operations Room of the Ministry of Immigration in monitoring Egyptians stranded in the UAE during their return to the State of Kuwait, following the suspension of Kuwait’s air traffic, and communication and coordination between the Ministry of Immigration and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The Immigration Minister revealed that new travel dates have been set for the State of Kuwait for Egyptians stranded in the Emirates, noting that companies have notified more than 1,500 stranded Egyptians of their new travel dates.

Ambassador Nabila Makram confirmed that the schedule of new appointments for Egyptians stranded in the Emirates will be published, and those who do not find their trip on the schedule should contact the hotline designated by the Ministry of Tourism to receive inquiries and complaints from the Egyptians stranded, and work to resolve them with the tourism companies through the number «19654», and informs His name is “triple”, and the official of the company in which he was hired, his passport number and his old date of travel, and work will be done to establish a new travel date.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, said that there is a national role for companies to facilitate procedures for Egyptians stranded abroad, solve any problem until the end of the crisis, and coordinate regarding the evacuation schedule or travel dates, praising the coordination efforts between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Immigration and Affairs. Egyptians abroad, to communicate between companies and facilitate the Egyptians stranded on their way to Kuwait.

In the same context, the Minister of Immigration called on the stranded Egyptians to understand the nature of the exceptional circumstances the world is going through, to cooperate to overcome this emergency crisis and to respect the laws and regulations applied in the host countries , until the airspace is reopened.

For his part, Major General Mazen Fahmy, Deputy Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, explained that the rescheduling of the trips occurred after coordinating the efforts of the Ministry of Immigration and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in implementation from the directives of Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration and Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Stranded Egyptians, to address the problems of stranded Egyptians.
