The director of the Analysis and Forecast Center of the Meteorological Authority, Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, revealed the end of the heat wave that is sweeping the country as of today.
Shaheen said, in remarks to “Extra News,” that the heat wave the country is currently experiencing is expected to continue until the end of next week, and then return to normal levels.
He noted that everyone will feel noticeable increases in temperature over the next few days, according to a statement made by the Meteorological Office about the heat wave that started from today.
He explained that the increase in temperatures comes with values that range between 5 and 7 degrees Celsius in some cities and governorates, with the exception of some regions, including the northwest coasts, Salloum, Matrouh, Sayed Barani and the rest of the cities, far from the notable increase in temperatures.
He continued: “The rest of the cities and governorates of the Republic will feel a notable increase in temperatures over the next few days, with slight increases in humidity levels that began to be felt as we approached summer and the sensation of high temperatures began. temperatures. “
