Egyptian player Amr Warda, the Greek PAOK team player, revealed his previous exposure to Corona virus infection, during the preparation period for the new season in Greece.
Greek press reports had indicated that Warda would join the Voloz Club on a one-season loan.
Speaking to the Greek site SDNA, Warda launched an attack on those who want to destroy him, as he himself described it, where he said: “I am on my way to join the ranks of the Fuloz team to play and enjoy football. The PAOK administration says I am the best and despite that they did not give me the opportunity, that a physical person played for several Greek clubs and for my country in the World Cup in Russia, but they always focus on my mistakes.
Egyptian star P added: “During the preparation period, I caught the Coronavirus, which is a divine matter and many of the world’s most famous players, like Ibrahimovic and Dybala, missed the preparation period for the PAOK team stay home.
“They said they are the best player in Greece and they signed new contracts with the team despite having two offers from Olympiacos and Ares two months ago,” Warda said.
Warda revealed the details of her conversation with the PAOK club president, where she said: “I spoke with Ivan Savidis, the club president, and he treats me like his son, and I wanted to follow the new season with PAOK, but there is a person within the club who wants to destroy me and this happens to me every year ”.
Warda confirmed that as a Muslim player he does not drink alcohol, however, they spread words behind his back that offend him and that he is still 27 years old and has a future in Greece, where he has been for five years.
Warda concluded his statement: “I just want to play football. I was the best player in Greece with Atromitos. I love PAOK, but their coach, Apple Ferrera, wants to destroy me after I renewed my contract with the club. I have one year left in my contract with the PAO and I will go to Foloz and everyone will see that I am the same. “
