Amir Mortada Mansour, the general supervisor of the Zamalek football team, attacked the Egyptian Football Association for the analyzes the players underwent in preparation to face Enppi in the Premier League.
Zamalek faces the Enppi team scheduled for 20:30 today, Sunday, at the Cairo International Stadium, in the matches of the 23rd round of the local competition.
Amir Mortada said, in tweets posted on his Twitter account on Sunday: “The Football Association informed us of the results of the rabid test analysis of 3 corona cases in the team and no one informed us of any protocol or procedure.”
He added: “We made a PCR swab approved by the Ministry of Health and the Health Organization at Zamalek’s expense for the injured players the day after the Football Association smear, and the swab result showed the safety of the players and are not injured. “
He continued: “The PCR result appeared hours before the ENPPI match, so we notified the Football Association of the results of the analysis so that we could include the players in the match list.”
The general supervisor of football in Zamalek said: “We were surprised by the news on the sites that the Football Association notified Zamalek of the negative result of the analysis, although the Football Association has no role in this analysis, absurd.”
