Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed today, Tuesday, in a speech marking the anniversary of the October War, that Egypt’s ambitions are not over.
He stressed that the threats, although their nature has changed, their danger has not diminished, noting that “the future of nations is not made with slogans and auctions.”
In addition, he said: “The October victory taught us that the Egyptian nation is always capable of standing up for its rights and imposing its respect on others. It saw that” the right that is based on force replaces its word and wins in the end.
He also stressed that the Egyptian people do not waste their land and are capable of protecting it. And he considered that the October War sent to all Egyptians a new spirit characterized by perseverance and challenge, and the ability to meet difficulties and achievements.
Yesterday, the Egyptian president chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which processed a series of files related to the activities and tasks of the armed forces and their efforts to protect the pillars of national security in all strategic directions and to combat terrorism in cooperation with various state institutions.
In the context of the celebrations of Egypt and the armed forces, the 47th anniversary of the October victories, wreaths were placed at the monument to the martyrs of the armed forces in Nasr City.
