Ali Ashour, the coach of Egypt Al-Maqsas, submitted his resignation to the team coach after 20 days he spent at the helm of the Fayoumi team.
Ashour assumed responsibility on September 22, succeeding Ihab Jalal, who left the team’s training due to a dispute with the board of directors.
Jamal Omar was commissioned to assume the duties of coach of the team in the remaining two matches of the league championship, assisted by Ahmed Hussam as general coach and Ragab Aweys as goalkeeper coach.
Ali Ashour posted the text of his resignation on his personal Facebook page: “I sincerely thank you for the period in which I took on the task of leading the first team, and I assure you that I made a great effort with the players to give their best. themselves and preserve the general interest of all parties ”.
He continued: “Please accept my official apology for not continuing to lead the technical team during the next stage due to my special circumstances that prevent me from continuing, and I confirm that I am always at the service of the club at any time.”
And Ali Ashour said in televised remarks after his team lost to Al-Jaysh in week 32 of the league that the team suffers from a shortage of numbers, explaining that some players are not present due to the financial crisis the club is going through. and they do not charge their fees.
Al-Maqsas ranks seventh in the league table with 10 points.
The clearinghouse has two games left against Smouha next Friday, and El Entag El Harby in the final week of the competition.
