Algeria and Morocco lead globally and Egypt falls in the ranking

FIFA announced the classification of the teams after the strong friendly matches that most continental teams had played during the previous suspension period.

Algeria and Morocco advanced in the FIFA rankings.

Although they played two friendly matches and scored a win and a draw, that was enough to add points and advance in the standings.

The Algerian team rose to 5 places, the desert warriors in 30th place, and Morocco advanced 4 places, to occupy the Atlas Lions, 39th.

In the FIFA monthly rankings, Egypt’s national team fell to 52nd place after ranking 51st.

As for the rest of the Arab teams, Tunisia continued to lead the Arab League in 26th place in the world, followed by Algeria and Morocco, then Egypt in fourth place, Qatar fifth (57), Saudi Arabia sixth (67), Iraq seventh (70 ), UAE eighth (74) and Syria ninth (79). And the Sultanate of Oman tenth (82).

Belgium’s team tops the world rankings, while France ranks second, Brazil ranks third and Croatia fell to ninth place.

Belgium remained at the top of the standings despite losing a few points after their defeat to England in the 1-2 European Nations League Championship, and their balance was converted to (1765) points.

While the French team strengthened its reputation thanks to its 2-1 victory over Croatia, its 0-0 draw with Portugal in the Nations League and its 7-1 friendly victory over Ukraine.
