The Egyptian president referred to his energetic monitoring of all current events on the Sudanese scene at the regional and international levels, and highlighted Egypt’s support for the will and options of the political leadership of brother Sudan to shape the future of his country. , and welcomed all efforts that would help Sudan face the economic crisis in the interest of the Sudanese people, in addition to achieving regional stability and peace.

For his part, Lieutenant General Al-Burhan emphasized the strength of the historical ties inherent to Egypt and Sudan, praising in this context the mutual efforts to strengthen the ties of joint cooperation between the two countries, and the willingness of Sudan to continue the coordination with Egypt on all files of mutual interest.

The head of the Sudan Sovereignty Council reviewed developments in the situation in Sudan and the efforts made to deal with developments in this regard, including the recent signing in Juba of the peace agreement between the Sudanese government and various armed movements, expressing in this regard, your country’s appreciation for the unlimited support of Egypt in maintaining security and stability. The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, left Khartoum on Tuesday morning for Cairo on an official visit to Egypt.

The Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Sudan, Councilor Ahmed Adly Imam, said in a special statement that Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan’s visit to Egypt is part of the fraternal consultations between the leaders of the two countries, on files of common interest.
