Al-Sisi orders to accelerate the implementation of the comprehensive modernization project for the new educational system

Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met, on Tuesday, with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Tariq Shawqi, Minister of Education and Education Technique, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

He indicated that the meeting addressed the monitoring of the news at the end of the academic year 2019/2020, the results of the coordination of university admission, as well as the current procedures to receive the new academic year 2020/2021.

Regarding school education; Dr. Tarek Shawky presented the ministry’s plans regarding the comprehensive modernization of the basic education system in Egypt with its various elements, especially the digital transformation and the educational part of the new Egyptian educational system, in addition to what is included in the system. of new exams and electronic correction, and the development of the secondary school system, within the comprehensive framework of current projects. In execution in the Ministry during the new academic year 2020/2021.

The Minister of Education also presented the ministry’s strategy to support the capacities of teachers and train them for the new educational system that is supported by modern technological means, from the training and education platform.

In this context, the President directed the acceleration of the implementation of the comprehensive modernization project of the new educational system in Egypt, with a focus on the educational dimension and the physical and health rehabilitation of students.

The President also directed the development of the examination system for our children abroad in a way that achieves efficiency and is consistent with modern test-taking methods to facilitate the conduct of these examinations for children from Egyptian communities abroad. through the expansion of mechanization and the use of modern technology.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar presented the plans of the Ministry of Higher Education to prepare for the new academic year, as well as the results of the coordination of the first stage of admission to universities, the efforts of the ministry to facilitate the work of other stages of coordination, the development of the absorption capacity of the different universities and faculties in all degrees, as well as the follow-up of the procedures for the operation of new private universities. And it opened the door to applications, such as the universities of Al-Jalalah, Al-Alamein and Salman, reviewing in this sense the latest developments in international agreements and joint programs of these universities with important international educational institutions.

The President directed the expansion of the base of specialized faculties in modern technological sciences and artificial intelligence, highlighting in this context the application of the highest level of advanced education standards, in alliance with extensive foreign academic experience.
