A responsible source within the Al-Sikkah Al-Hadid club revealed that the club, which plays in the Second Division League, had started negotiations with retired goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary.

The source, who declined to be named in private statements, Laila Koura, said that the railway club had started serious negotiations to hire Al-Hadari.

He added that in the last hours the management of El Sekka El-Hadid Club contacted the goalkeeper of Al-Ahly and the former Egyptian team, to obtain his signature.

He explained that Al-Sikkah Al-Hadid Club, which seeks to consolidate the team’s ranks and whose top priority is to support the goalkeeping center, Al-Hadari entered his circle of interest after being promoted this season to the second division tournament.

Hours earlier, Mohamed Diab, managing director of FCZ, revealed the reasons for stopping negotiations with Essam El-Hadary, the historic goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team, to return to football again, despite his recent announcement of retirement.

Diab said, in telephone statements to the “Awdat Al-Dress” program via the “Al-Nahar” channel: “We met Essam El-Hadary in a session at the club after inspecting the facilities and the stadium. There was a great professionalism and the session was purely technical. “

He concluded: “We agreed not to complete the time guest contract because it is not enough to activate that link for this season. The discussion was technical, and the two parties only talked about football, and there were no financial disputes.”
