Al-Shorouk learned that the crisis of Mahmoud Kahraba, Al-Ahly player, and Mohamed Fadl, member of the Five-Year Committee, ended during the session held today at the headquarters of the Football Association.
Mahmoud Kahraba went to the Football Association based on a call from Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of the Al-Ahly Club, during which he asked him to go to the Jabaliya headquarters, accompanied by Brigadier General Muhammad Morgan, executive director of Al-ahly
The session witnessed the electrocution of both parties, and Muhammad Fadl before it was decided to renounce the complaints filed by the two parties and put an end to the matter (read here)
After the session, the Football Association issued a statement on its Facebook page saying that Kahraba apologized to Fadl and put an end to the crisis (read here). Deleting the statement 10 minutes after its posting, provided a statement is published in another form with the agreement of Al-Ahly and the Football Association at a later time.
A source in Al-Ahly said that Mahmoud Kahraba’s session with Fadl was a “reconciliation session” between the two parties, with only clarifications of views, and the player did not apologize to the five-party committee member. The source revealed that the Football Association statement regarding Kahraba’s apology for Fadl is false and has nothing to do with the truth, and the player did not apologize in favor of the committee member. He explained that the proof of this is that the Football Association deleted the statement from all its accounts on social networking sites, as well as from the official Jabalia website.
As for Mahmoud Kahraba, Al-Ahly player, he confirmed that he made no apology because he was not wrong in the first place (read here)
The crisis had started during Al-Ahly’s coronation of the league’s shield, when friction broke out between Kahraba and Muhammad Fadl, so the five-member committee member decided to present a memorandum to the player in the Disciplinary Committee before the player decided to file a complaint supported by Al-Ahly with the Football Association and the Disciplinary Committee as well.
