Work began on the second human rights forum on human rights and its applications in the field of artificial intelligence at the Arab world level, which was hypothetically organized by the Observatory for Human Rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During his inauguration of the forum, the President of the Arab Parliament delivered a keynote speech in which he explained that the Fourth Industrial Revolution and artificial intelligence technology have contributed greatly to promoting the practice of human rights in its broad and comprehensive sense. , and proposed effective solutions to many problems directly related to basic human rights, especially economic and social rights. At the same time, he referred to the challenges posed by artificial intelligence in the field of human rights, which often arise as a result of the misuse and misappropriation of the enormous potential it offers, and the consequent cyber crimes that threaten human privacy and violate their rights, and even threaten the national security of countries. Many cases.

The president of the Arab Parliament stressed the importance of establishing a comprehensive legal, values, ethical and institutional system that ensures that the machine does not control people, but uses them well to serve human rights and improve the exercise of their freedoms.
