Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of the Al-Ahly Club, accepted the invitation of Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation; To attend the hand-drawn World Cup concert that will take place this Saturday night under the pyramids.
Al-Khatib had received an invitation some time ago from Hassan Mustafa, president of the International Handball Federation, to attend the World Cup draw.
The International Handball Federation chose Al-Khatib as one of the most prominent legends of African sport throughout its history, and president of the largest club on the continent, in recognition of his successful sports career at all levels.
The ceremony will be attended by Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and President of the Supreme Committee of the Tournament, Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation, in addition to 17 ministers, Hisham Nasr, President of the Handball Federation, president of the Executive Organizing Committee and members of the Board of Directors of the Federation. In addition to the representatives of 29 countries, and the representative of Egypt, the host country, provided that the name of the two remaining countries is determined in the number of participants later after the completion of the tournament play-offs next month .
Egypt will host the 27th Handball World Championship from January 13 to 31, 2021, with the participation of 32 countries for the first time in the tournament’s history.
Notably, tonight’s raffle concert is hosted by international musician Omar Khairat, while the concert is hosted by artist Khaled Al-Nabawi, journalist Jasmine Taha and journalist Engy Al-Muqaddam.
