Al Ittihad achieves fatal league win over Pyramids

The Al-Ittihad Alexandria team managed to clinch a fatal victory on the Pyramids account with two goals to one goal in the match played between them on Saturday for the first round of the Egyptian WE League.

Abdullah Al-Saeed advanced for Pyramids in the 33rd minute, before Ammar Hamdy leveled for Ittihad in the 44th minute.

In the 96th minute, Khaled Al-Ghandour, the Al-Ittihad player, managed to score a fatal goal to secure full match points for the Alexandrian team.

The match started in a resounding way by the Al-Ittihad team, whose player Khaled Qamar scored an early goal offside through Khaled Qamar, and in the 7th minute, Razak Cisse, the Al-Ittihad player, managed to return to score marvelously before the referee turned to video technology, who decided to disallow the goal for offside.

And in the 34th minute of the game, Abdullah managed to score his team’s first goals of the season after a cross, which Al-Saeed was waiting for, with a wonderful climb to find the net.

Ramadan Sobhi came close to scoring the second for Pyramids in the 41st minute after he dodged past Al Ittihad defenders and took aim, but goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi arrived in time.

Alexandria’s Al-Ittihad came back into the game with a tying goal through Ammar Hamdi, who dodged the Pyramids defenders and went from inside the penalty area, and goalkeeper Sherif Ikrami failed to handle it.

And in the 52nd minute, Ramadan Sobhi scored a penalty after being obstructed by the Al-Ittihad player, and Abdullah Al-Saeed approached, but the promising goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi managed to stop the shot, so the positive draw continued as his motto of the exciting match.

In the 92nd minute, Ramadan Sobhi demanded a penalty kick after Mohammed Atwa, the Al-Ittihad defender, was blocked and the referee turned to the mouse, who confirmed there was no mistake.

In the closing meters of the match, Khaled Al-Ghandour, the Al-Ittihad player, snatched a fatal goal after a wonderful cross that was caught by goalkeeper Sherif Ikrami.
