The Islamic Research Academy of Al-Azhar denounced the recent statements issued by French President Emmanuel Macron, in which he accused Islam of false accusations that have nothing to do with the true religion of this religion whose Sharia cries out for tolerance and peace among all human beings, even those who do not believe in it.

The Synod affirmed its strong rejection of those statements that undermine all joint efforts between religious symbols to eliminate racism and harassment against religions, highlighting that such racist statements would inflame the feelings of two billion Muslims who follow this true religion.

The Research Council emphasized that the insistence of some on placing false accusations on Islam or other religions, such as separatism and isolationism, is a faulty confusion between the reality of what religions demand by calling for rapprochement between people and the architecture of the earth and the exploitation of some of the texts of these religions and their use to achieve descending purposes.

The council called on “these people to abandon the methods of attacking religions, describing them with descriptions of hatred, because that would cut the way to all constructive dialogue, and would support hate speech and lead the world in a direction that would eliminate continuous attempts to come into this world in a society that would entrench itself. For the coexistence between their children and eliminate discrimination and racism.
