Books- Omar Qora:
Khaled Murtaji, a member of Al-Ahly’s Board of Directors, confirmed that the club did not discuss the future of soccer coach Syed Abdul Hafeez, following reports that he was reportedly removed from his position due to the recording of an episode on the Ramez Jalal program.
At previous Board of Directors meetings, we did not discuss within the Board of Directors about the future of Captain Syed Hafeez with Al-Ahly, either with his continuation or his departure, “Murtaji said in remarks to the channel” On Time Sports “
He added: “The archive of the ball is the responsibility of Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the president of the club, and the fate of Captain Syed Abdul Hafeez belongs to the vision of the Planning Committee and the president of the club responsible for the soccer archive.”
He explained: “Syed Abdul Hafeez has a wealth of experience and is successful in his work, whether at the media level before or in the current training, and Mahmoud Al-Khatib is fully convinced of this.”
He emphasized: “On a personal level, I am completely satisfied with Sayed Abdel Hafeez’s performance, we have been successful during the last period, and as long as Mahmoud Al-Khatib is convinced of him, I am also convinced of him.”
For his part, Khaled Murtaji, responsible for the loan file of loans for Ramadan Sobhi of Huddersfield, indicated that the English club rejected Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s request to place a clause allowing the player to buy.
“Captain Al-Khatib instructed me to travel to England with Nader Shawky, Ramadan Sobhi’s agent, to obtain the services of the player on loan,” he said.
He added: “What many people do not know is that Mahmoud Al-Khatib requested that he lend to Ramadan for two years with the right of purchase, but the English club refused because his contract with the player continued for two years.”
Al-Ahly’s board member concluded: “Huddersfield agreed to lend Ramadan for one year, before determining his fate the following year, either by his stay or his departure.”
Ramadan Sobhi’s loan with Al-Ahly ends at the end of the current season (2019-2020).
