Al-Ahly registers his objection to the transfer of the African Super Cup match from Egypt

The leaders of the Al-Ahly club registered their objection to the transfer of the African Super Cup match from Egypt to Qatar, after the leaders of the Executive Office of the Confederation of African Football announced “enough” to establish the East African Super Championship year between Al-Ahly, the champion of the African Champions League and the champion of the Moroccan Confederation Borkan Al-Maghribi in Qatar, in fulfillment of the signed contract. Between them and “CAF” holding the championship there for three copies, the next being the last. Members of the executive office have yet to set the date.

The last hours witnessed contacts between Al-Ahly officials and the CAF executive director to register the objection to the CAF’s decision, especially when the official letters from the African Football Confederation to the Egyptian Football Association confirm that the match will be played in Egypt once and for all.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) signed a contract with the Qatar League for the Game to host the African Super Match for a period of 3 years starting in 2018, and in fact the 2018 edition was held between the Moroccan Raja and the Tunisian Esperance there and was crowned by Moroccans, then the 2019 version between Zamalek and Tarji and the White Knight was settled, and the 2020 version will be the last. In Qatar, it will reunite Al-Ahly and Burkan Renaissance.
