The leaders of the Al-Ahly club decided to place the Zambian striker Walter Bwalya, the new forward of the new team, on the local and African red list, instead of the Angolan Geraldo, and Geraldo is scheduled to be placed on the waiting list for Football Association recently created to face such registration crisis if attempts to market it fail before Bwalya appears on the list.
Al-Ahly contracted last night, Thursday, with the Al-Gouna forward for a period of four seasons, after a period of negotiations that Al-Ahly resolved in his favor, despite the fact that Zamalek entered a part of the agreement in the last days.
Walter Bwalya supports Al-Ahly’s African roster as well as Al-Ahly’s World Cup in February, after winning the African Champions League last month at Zamalek’s expense.
It is decided that Geraldo will be removed from Al-Ahly’s African and local roster, and the Zambian striker will be signed up in his place.
Al-Ahly had been signed at the beginning of the current season with Moroccan Badr Bannon to support the defense, and was enrolled in place of Senegalese Aliu Badji, who was loaned to Turkey’s Ankara Godjo for one season.
