Mohamed Al-Harthi, CEO of Al-Ahly Jeddah club, confirmed that his club administration is not part of the crisis in Abdullah Al-Saeed, Al-Ahly and the Pyramids.

Al-Harthy said in remarks to the Al-Talatah program for OnTime Sports 2 channel: “Abdullah Al-Saeed canceled the contract with us by mutual agreement, and we did not resign, and then he moved to the Pyramids as a free player.”

He added that the complaint filed by the Al-Ahly administration was not during his tenure, but has seen the details of that.

Al-Harthy explained that Al-Ahly sought refuge with FIFA, but his complaint was rejected and the case will be closed unless the Red Fort administration files an appeal against the decision.

He continued: “At Al Ahly Jeddah we are not concerned about Abdullah Al Saeed’s crisis with his old club, and we respect the decisions of the International Football Association.

Al-Ahly announced on Saturday that he had filed a new complaint with the Egyptian Football Association, confirming in his statement that he had received a response from the International Football Association “FIFA” that he had no longer been entrusted with the resolution of the dispute over club dues.

The Red Club had included an item in the contract to sell Abdullah Al-Saeed to the people of Jeddah in the summer of 2018, stipulating asylum for the International Football Association “FIFA” in the event of any dispute.
