According to media reports, the Tanzanian team Simba has filed a complaint with the African Football Confederation (CA) against the Al-Merrikh team, for the illegal participation of two Sudanese national team players in the match that brought the two teams together. .

Simba’s Tanzanian match with Sudanese Al-Merrikh ended in a goalless draw, in the match that brought the two teams together last Saturday, on the third day of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Simba leads Group A with 7 points, while Marte lags behind with one point, and Al-Ahly and Congolese Vita Club are tied with the same score by 4 points for each team, while Marte scored only one point.

According to “BN Sports”, Simba, the Tanzanian, decided to file a complaint with the African Football Confederation (CAF) against Al-Merrikh, Sudan, due to the participation of the duo Ramadan Ajab and Bakhit Khamis in the match.

Reports from Tanzania also indicated that there are doubts about the participation of the duo, Ramadan Ajab and Bakhit Khamis, of Al Merrikh, in the last game of the two teams in the African Champions League.

The Tanzanian newspaper “mwananchi” said that Al-Merrikh participated in the match between Simba, Tanzania, despite the duo’s suspension for a period of 6 months by the Sudanese Football Association.

The newspaper claimed that the reason for detaining the Sudanese duo, Mars, is that the duo signed contracts with two different teams, Mars and Hilal, leading to their suspension until mid-April.

The newspaper noted that if it turns out that Mars has already played with players who do not deserve to play, he will be excluded from the tournament.

The newspaper said that the regulation establishes that “a team that plays with a suspended or disqualified player will be considered lost the corresponding match and will be automatically excluded from the competition if the tournament committee is satisfied with the arguments presented.”

For his part, Ahmed Al-Mukhtar, a member of the Mars Club Board of Directors, said in a brief statement late in the evening: “It is not true that Mars has involved players in violation of regulations.”

The crisis arises due to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Sudanese Football Association to suspend the trio of Mars, Ramadan Ajab, Muhammad Al-Rasheed and Bakhit Khamis for a period of 6 months from the practice of any sporting activity.

The decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Sudanese Federation came about because the trio signed two different clubs, “Al Hilal and Al Merreikh”, during the same period with their knowledge of the matter and their recognition of the mistake made on their part.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Sudanese Federation indicated that what the Marciano Trio had done was done by fraud and deception, and by obtaining illegal material gains after obtaining money from both clubs.
